REUBEN BROWN, b. Mar. 15, 1769; d. July 17, 1853; m. July 1, 1793, Sarah Brown. He removed from New Ipswich to Whitingham, Vt., about 1800; and thence ten or twelve years later into Canada, settling in a new town which received the name of Brownsville in his honor. He was a prosperous farmer.
