In the name of the Benevolent Father of All

I, Nathan Heywood, of the County of Clermont, State of Ohio, do make and publish this, my last will and testament.

Item First. After all my debts and funeral expenses are fully paid, I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Anna Heywood all my real estate that I own and possess at this time and also all my personally property that I have or own during her natural lifetime. I further will that my beloved wife Anna Heywood may dispose of the real estate and personal property amoung the heirs of my body as she may think proper.

Item 2. I do hereby nominate and appoint Richard Belt and Anna Heywood my executors of this my last will and testament, hereby authorizing and empowering them to compromise a just release and discharge in such manner as they may deem proper the debts and claims due me. I do also authorize and empower them if it shall become necessary in order to pay my debts, to sell by private sale or in such manner such terms of credit or otherwise as they may think proper all or any part of my real estate or personally property and make [two unintelligible lines]

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourteenth day of May in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty Three.
