Obituary of Stella C. Turner
Stella C. Turner, 77, of Boscawen, NH, died December 11, 2007 at the Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen following a long illness.
She was born on December 12, 1930 in Weare, NH the daughter of Charles E. and Eva (Andrews) Eaton. She was raised, educated and raised her family in Weare.
Mrs. Turner worked as the food service director at St. Paul School in Concord for several years before she retired.
She was an avid card player and enjoyed tending her flower garden. She also enjoyed swimming, singing, was a great cook and was a nature enthusiast. Stella was a strong willed person who loved her family. She was always placing others first in her life because of her nurturing spirit.
She is survived by her son, Louis O. Turner of Hopkinton, NH; two daughters, Linda Kienia of Berwick, ME and Melody Turner of Weare, NH; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandsons; brother, Daniel Eaton of Concord; sister, Ethel Keegan of Lakewood, Colorado and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Walter Allen Turner who died in 2000. They were married on August 12, 1949.
In Her Life: She is survived by her beloved grandchildren, Tamara Turner, Kimberli Kienia, Tracey Whipple, Heidi Kienia, Christopher Belanger, Cory Belanger and Courtney Belanger.
Her Calling Hour is on Friday from 10 to 11 AM at the Holy Cross Episcopal Church, 118 Center Road, Weare, with her Service to follow at 11:00AM. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Weare in the spring.
