Sergeant JOSIAH HARRINGTON, son of Josiah and Dinah (Flagg) Harrington, of Worcester. He was baptized at Waltham, 11 May 1740, and he died, at Worcester, before 1786, when the administration on his estate was granted. He married, first, at Worcester, 10 January 1764, mary Jones, born at Worcester, 19 January 1745/6, died before 1775, the daughter of Lieutenant Noah and Rebecca (Heywood) Jones of Worcester. He married, second, Lydia. He served in the Revolutionary War from Worcester as Sergeant in Captain David Chadwick's company, about the time of the Bennington Alarm, 23 September 1777. He received £20 by his father's will.
