Isaac Farrar, son of Joseph and Mary Farrar, was born in Concord, Aug. 10, 1719 (Concord Vital Records, p. 112), and married in Townsend, Mar. 1, 1743, Sarah Brooks (Sawtelle's Hist. of Townsend, 1878, p. 386), who was born in Concord, Feb. 2, 1723-4 (Concord Vital Records, p. 111), daughter of Benjamin and Sarah (Heywood) Brooks.

Isaac Farrar settled in townsend, and he made his will Dec. 1, 1806, which was proved Oct. 18, 1808. (Middlesex Probate, No. 7288.) His widow was executrix of his will, and was living at the latter date.

Isaac and Sarah (Brooks) Farrar had a daughter Keziah, born in Townsend, May 18, 1746, who married in Townsend, Jan. 4, 1769, Capt. Abijah Joslin.
