  • Parents were RILEY BRESSLER and MARY ANN THOMAS.
  • Graduated from State Teachers College, Winchester, Pennsylvania in 1902.
  • Received his A.B. from the University of Minnesota in 1916.
  • Received his M.A. from Teachers College, Columbia University in 1919.
  • Graduated from the Minnesota College of Law (L.L.B.0.) in 1923.
  • Married MARION TUPPER on August 28, 1918.





CHILDREN

  1. CALDER TUPPER BRESSLER, born August 26, 1919 in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Married FLORENCE ELIZABETH SCHOETTLER on January 15, 1945.
  2. HARTWELL TUPPER BRESSLER, born August 24, 1923 in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. He was a 2nd Lt. fighter pilot with the Army Air Corps in WWII, stationed in Panama. He failed to return from a mission on December 2, 1944; and was officially declared dead February 12, 1945.
