  2. MARY CATHERINE SEARS, born July 25, 1834 in Camden, Oneida County, New York. Married SETH B. TUBBS on August 27, 1857.

  3. LOIS ANN SEARS, born October 29, 1836 in Camden, Oneida County, New York; died September 20, 1846.

  4. JOHN M. SEARS, born March 9, 1839 in Reading, Hillsdale County, Michigan. Married MARY E. CROWDER on July 3, 1863.

  5. DARIUS MARTIN SEARS, born July 20, 1842 in Reading, Hillsdale County, Michigan; died April 3, 1843.

  6. HENRY BELA SEARS, born March 29, 1844 in Reading, Hillsdale County, Michigan. Married LOUISA HUNTER on September 28, 1869 in Maumee, Lucas County, Ohio.

  7. GEORGE EVERNETT SEARS, born May 23, 1848 in Dundee, Kane County, Illinois. He was adopted by ARNOLD LOCKE and took the name of LOCKE.

After living for a time in Camden, N.Y., Mr. Sears removed in fall of 1837 to Reading Township, Hillsdale co., Mich., and later to Kane co., Ill., near Dundee, where his wife died in 1848. He then broke up housekeeping and went to Jefferson co., Wis., leaving his children in Illinois provided with good homes in different families. He was married in 1852 to Mrs. Amy Fuller, taken sick the same day, and died seven days after; was a farmer.
