Obituary of Nancy Ann (Towsley) Knetzer

Nancy Ann (Towsley) Knetzer, 81, Goshen, IN, passed away February 12, 2014. She was born in Indianapolis on August 10, 1932, the daughter of Paul G. and Mary Frances (Groff) Towsley. Nancy loved animals, especially her dogs and horses. She was an active member of the Greencastle Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution and also designed the Indiana DAR state logo. Nancy married Herschel C. Knetzer on August 22, 1953, and he preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Janell K. Voss (Bill), Gordon L. Knetzer (Pamela), and Lorita K. Bill (Pete); her grandchildren, Matthew Voss, Mary Johnston, Lauren Kopf, Jacquelyn Knetzer, Chelsea Bill, and Christopher Bill; her great-grandson, John Johnston III; her siblings, John Towsley, Thomas Towsley, and Virginia Peters; and numerous nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 16 at 1 PM at Flanner and Buchanan- Hamilton Memorial Park, 4180 Westfield Road, Noblesville, IN, with visitation from 11:30 AM until service time. Burial will follow in Fillmore Cemetery, Fillmore, IN. Memorial gifts may be made to the Humane Society of Elkhart County, 54687 County Road 19, Bristol, IN 46507.
